We were blessed with our first snowfall in Minnesota this weekend. We had a light dusting on Friday night and a much heavier dusting on Saturday night into Sunday. And by “much heavier dusting”, I mean we got about 12-15 inches. Yay!! Here are some pictures from our winter, wonderland, snowy fun!!
Saturday morning walk through the woods. Noah was getting tired from all the walking in the woods. So, he found a stump, brushed it off and sat down.
Saturday morning walk through the woods. Eli was having so much fun leading us around the woods. He’s a natural born leader.

Our snowy backyard.
Snowy backyard. The bird bath is overflowing with snow.
Snowy backyard. Look at all the snow on the bird feeder!
Snowy backyard. The bird bath was not on, if it had been, the snow would not have been piled so high.
Snowy backyard. An empty bird feeder, piled high with snow. There was snow settling everywhere, even on the shepherd’s hook.
Snowy backyard. Snow covered bird feeders. Poor birdies! They are cleaned off now, but need to be filled.
Noah trudging through the snow. He was struggling. The snow was so deep and his little legs are short.
Noah loved watching all the vehicles go by, especially the trucks with plows on the front.
Mom’s memorial tree. It looked beautiful all covered in snow.
Mommy and Noah snuggling in the snow. We had fun playing outside.
Our woods, laden with snow. So beautiful!
The woods across the street. Simply beautiful!
A close up picture of Mom’s tree. It looks amazing!! I love all the snow clingy to it’s branches.
Eli and I had a snowball fight. Neither one of us could hit the broad side of a barn. :-)
Eli and I had fun with our snowball fight. No one was hurt, because no one could hit each other. :-)
We had a blast enjoying our first snowfall. We are going to go outside again today to enjoy the snow some more. Maybe there will be more pictures later of our day 2 fun!
