Last year, Dave and I participated in the Heartbeat 5000 5k Walk/Run. We are so pumped to be involved in it again this year.
The Heartbeat 5000 is a event that supports the cardiovascular unit at Children’s Hospital here in MN. As many of you know, we’ve spent a lot of time at Children’s for Eli’s 3 open-heart surgeries and countless doctor visits. We are so incredibly thankful for the wonderful care that Eli received in the hospital. Not only did they take care of Eli but us as well. We felt so loved and very well cared for while Eli was going through his surgeries.
All the funds raised for the cardiovascular unit go toward patient and family care, medical advancements, the doctors and nurses knowledge and training and so much more. Children’s gave us a life with Eli, that without their knowledge and care, that we might not have gotten otherwise.
Please consider joining our team or giving a donation to Children’s.
