The Burlingames

Our life is full of changes and we are liking them. :)

First of all – Eli is wonderful!! He is growing, eating, sitting up, rolling over, talking, standing and so much more. He loves to sit up and chat with those around him. He is into ‘reading’ books, he especially likes to be read to. Dave and I just love making him laugh and seeing all his fun facial expressions. Eli also has his two bottom teeth in, they came in with little pomp and circumstance, thank goodness. Eli is not into crawling yet, I’m not ready for my little man to start scooting around yet. We have been feeding him lots of fruit and veggies. So far his favorites are: squash, sweet potatoes, pears, bananas, sweet peas and mixed veggies. He’s not too keen on green beans or carrots. I have more or less given up on the cereal, he doesn’t like it anymore. Eli has been getting lots of Grampa and Gramma Paulson time each week. I teach summer school in Turtle Lake two days a week and we stay with my parents in Clear Lake for one night.

Our biggest piece of news is that we are in the final stages of buying a house!! Yay!! The house is located in St. Paul Park, MN. I’ve included a picture of it. The house has three bedrooms, one finished bathroom and another unfinished bathroom, living room, family room, dining room, kitchen and laundry/storage room. The house sits on 0.3 acres of land and has two open lots on either side of the house. The house requires lots of work, but we are looking forward to the challenge. We will be adding a photo album of the house for all you viewers to keep updated on our progress.
