Eli has a Face!

Eli came off the ventilator and feeding tube today. He actually has a face under all that stuff. We haven’t seen him without something in his face since he was born. He’s a pretty good-looking kid. I’ll post some more video tonight after work (and visiting the boy). For the time being, here’s Eli. The first is of Eli right before they took out the tubes. The second is his face.

He is just so precious! It is so awsome to know that God has had His hand in this the whole time and there are angels there with you and Eli this whole time. You have been and will continue to be blessed with a miracle. Continue to embrace the moments you are having with him. Document as many as possible and rejoice always. I am continuing to pray.

I bet the commentary about Eli’s appearance maybe getting a little tired, but he really is a beautiful little boy and you should be very proud of yourselves and each other!
While I can’t imagine how hard it is for you not being able to bring him home, thankfuly he won’t remember this time spent in the hospital and your patience will be well-rewarded.
