Another Naming Contest

I’ve often thought it would be cool to have a name for my bass. I feel a great sentimental attachment to it and it seems a shame to simply address it as “my bass.” Here’s a picture for inspiration.

We’re back from our second ultrasound. At the recommendation of Megan’s regular doc, we went to another clinic for a higher-powered ultrasound so they could get a better look. The doctors are saying the left side of Rupert’s heart, as well as his aortic arch, are too small. They think it’s simply one of those things that occasionally happens (apparently about 1/100 babies have a heart defect of some kind) given what they know about our medical histories and the fact that he doesn’t seem to have any other issues.
We’ll be going to see a pediatric cardiologist on July 25 for further diagnosis and to discuss what will happen after Rupert is born. We’re still believing that God can heal our son. What a testimony it would be for him to come out perfectly healthy when he is born.
What?!?! Week 22, what happened to week 21?!?! Well, since they moved my projected due date up by 8 days I’ve managed to skip a whole week of my pregnancy. :) I hope all of you have enjoyed the pictures of our baby boy that we have posted and the new/updated photo albums. We’ve had so much fun posting this week. Hopefully on Friday we will have some more awesome pictures of our baby boy. We are going in for another ultrasound, it’s a level 2 ultrasound – meaning 3-D images. Yay!!

It’s been awhile since my last bad driver post, and it’s not because people are suddenly better drivers; I’ve just been lazy in reporting.
We’ve all seen the guy that stops at a red light and then slowly creeps into the intersection, either trying to anticipate the light changing or thinking their movement will cause it to change. Well, the one I saw today must have given up on waiting for the light to change and just decided to go through the red. Moron.
I found a new plugin for displaying our photo galleries. The upside to this is we might post photos more frequently (maybe). The plugin (NextGEN Gallery) is very simple and works wonderfully. Check out the new look by clicking here or the Photos link in the upper right of the page.
