Chronicling the adventures of the B's

Eli is Now Crawling

by Dave

Nothing is safe in our apartment as of a few days ago; Eli figured out how to crawl. It’s really exciting to see him scooting around the floor, chasing down everything. We were kinda hoping he wouldn’t quite figure it out until we moved to our house and got things baby-proofed, but that didn’t work out. Rather than go through the trouble of doing that here (only a couple weeks before we move), we’re just keeping a close eye on him.

Here’s a video of Eli showing off his new trick. It’s been tough to get him to crawl when we want to see it, so Megan tempted him with the ultimate toy he cannot have: the remote.

We Own a House!!!

by Dave

Well, it only took a half-hour to seal the deal. Now begins the real fun: demo. An unexpected plus is the bank (seller) covered a couple things in closing that we weren’t expecting, so we didn’t have to fork over as much money. Praise God that this deal is finally over.

Finally Closing

by Dave

Tomorrow is the big day! We’re finally going to close on our house. There are no more obstacles: no more hoops to jump through. We’re scheduled for 3pm tomorrow afternoon. Shortly after, we’ll finally be homeowners. Yesssssss.

It's a Boy!!!

by Dave

Bethany and Wendell had their baby boy on Sunday, July 26, 2009. Bethany gave birth to Owen Lund Danielson, who weighed in at 6lbs. 15oz. and was 19 inches long. They spent a few days in the hospital so Owen could get used to eating, now they are home and doing well. Owen is a very content baby and has been on many family outtings already. We enjoyed meeting him this weekend. Here are some pictures of our cute little nephew (please visit the photo gallery for more pictures).
