The new amp is here. I’ve played it for just a few minutes as it was delivered only a little while before I had to go to work. My first impressions are good. The amp is incredibly light, loud, and seems to be very versatile. I’ll have to put some hours on it before I can make any solid conclusions. Below you’ll find a stock image of the amp; it’s a Gallien-Krueger MB212 combo. I’ll try to do a full review after I’ve spent a little quality time with it.
I can now add fox to the list of creatures I’ve seen by my house. I was just about to turn into the driveway this morning when a rather large fox came out of the woods between my house and the neighbor’s, and then trotted across the street and into the woods on the other side.
I’m hoping, though, that we don’t get the same variety as other places in the metro. A black bear was spotted the other day in Oakdale. I don’t have a garage to put the trash cans into yet.
My new amp is finally coming. I ordered it on March 8th and I finally received the email tonight with a tracking number. It’s been kinda sad not having a loud amp around for this long. I sold the old one to pay for the new. I should have it in hand by early next week. Yesssssssss.
I saw a commercial today that showed we’re only a few small steps away from ESPN 8: The Ocho (as seen in the movie Dodgeball). ESPN is changing the name of one of their sister networks, ESPN360, to ESPN 3. While they already have quite the stable of networks with various names , I thought it funny that ESPN would continue the upward count in their name. At the rate they’re going, we’re only a hop, skip and a jump from watching family table tennis tournaments.
Eli is going to be a big brother!!!!!! We are very excited to announce that we are pregnant with Baby Burlingame number 2. Our tentative due date is November 10, 2010. Yes, this is the day before Eli’s 2nd birthday and yes, this does fall during Minnesota hunting season. It was not planned but just happened that way. However, we are hoping that Baby B. decides to make his/her entrance a week or two early. :)
