The WI legislature is not to blame. CESA charges a ton of money to the districts for using their services. Megan’s wages and benefits account for about 40% of the amount CESA charges; the other 60% goes to CESA for administration, materials, training, vehicles and mileage, and one building. The school districts are making a smart decision to hire a teacher directly and cut out the 60% extra they’re currently paying to CESA.

That sucks Meggie. Stupid WI legislature screwing districts. The Ellsworth thing sounds good though. I’m sure they’ll hire you. they won’t find anyone better & plus you already have inside scoop on their district. Good Luck!
